Desolation Trekking- Todos los Santos Lake

We will pick you up at your hotel in the morning at 9 am. We will take the route to the south bank passing through the town of Ensenada. We will drive towards the beginning of the DESOLACIÓN trail on the shore of Lake Todos los
Santos. Here we will leave the vehicle and begin to walk in the shade among hazelnut trees, myrtle trees, as well as magnificent views of the Osorno volcano. The terrain where we will walk is currently ash from the last eruption of the Calbuco volcano (April 22, 2015), which has perhaps made this walk a little more demanding. Always uphill we will arrive after 1:30 hrs at the Volcano viewpoint, where we can appreciate views of Lake Todos los Santos, El Tronador, Cerro La Picada and of course the Osorno Volcano with its iconic glacier. Time for box lunch and rest.

We will return by the same way we came or by an alternative path along the coast depending on the physical conditions of the group. Another option is to return by boat from the shoreline of the lake to the pier that can be arranged and included.

We recommend bringing trekking shoes, a waterproof jacket, trekking poles, sun protection (sunscreen hat), clothing Coat according to the season and weather

Also bring a box lunch, juice, fruit, cereal bar, water.
