Calbuco Volcano Trekking

The trail begins at the entrance of the Llanquihue Nature Reserve, where you begin to ascend the Calbuco volcano between pools of glacier water

and dense tepú forest, larch and coihues. After 1 hour and 45 minutes we begin to find old Larches and the viewpoint where we can enjoy the lunch that you will have brought yourself. Enjoying the spectacular view of the Volcano with its snowy crater. If the weather and weather permit it, we will continue ascending up to 1,000 meters (3,280 feet) where the base refuge for climbers is located. From here you can see the Pacific Ocean and the continuation of the mountains.

We recommend bringing trekking shoes, a waterproof jacket, trekking poles
, sun protection (sunscreen hat) warm clothing according to the season and the weather.

Also bring a box lunch, juice, fruit, cereal bar, water.
