Trekking El Solitario, Red Crater, Petrohue Falls, Esmeralda Lake
We will pick you up at your hotel in the morning at 9 am. We will take the route to the south passing through the tourist town of Ensenada. We will ascend by vehicle to 1300 meters where the cafeteria is located. Here we can take a walk to the red crater. With exquisite views of the entire region. Then we will begin the second portion of the trekking: the "solitary" path. Here we will leave the vehicle and begin to walk among hundred-year-old trees, lichens, ferns and magnificent views. The terrain where we will walk is currently ash from the last eruption of the Calbuco volcano (April 22, 2015), which has perhaps made this hike a little more demanding. The landscape will slowly change to more arid until arriving at the landslide of the last eruption in 1869 of Vn. Osorno. Lunch with box lunch (not included) and then we will continue walking the last part of about 45 more minutes. Petrohue Falls and Lago de Todos are not to be missed.
We recommend bringing trekking shoes, waterproof jacket, trekking poles, sunscreen (sunscreen hat), warm clothing according to the season and weather
Also bring a box lunch, juice, fruit, bar cereal, water.
